Porno Bingo is a weekly fundraiser presented by Will Clark to help raise money for local LGBT organizations. Porno Bingo, for those who ask is a regular bingo game. We play 4 rounds of Bingo along with a gorgeous weekly selected Porn Star. Cheer NY's porn star is going to be the fabulous DAMIEN CROSSE from Titan Video. He will be there to mingle and help call the "balls" along with some surprise guests I'm sure! Prizes for each round include DVD's, products, gift cards and other "fun" stuff.

Four rounds of bingo, four separate gift bags of prizes and only $ 1.00 a card per round.
You may buy as many cards as you wish per round.

All proceeds for this event go directly to Cheer NY. So, please come help support Cheer NY at Porno Bingo. It's a fun event, the people are hysterical and of course, 25 hot male and female cheerleaders of Cheer New York.

Time for an update on the upcoming superfoxy BIG APPLE DODGEBALL league. We've received an incredible response and gi-normous interest in this league thanks to the help of many of NYC's gay sports clubs, gay professional organizations, and gay businesses spreading the word. So we'd like to say a big THANK YOU if you helped spread the word...even by just telling your friends. We are a start-up league here in the city so all the help we receive to get us up and running is much appreciated.

Many of you have emailed us with questions, comments and drama so now we'd like to take a moment to respond to them to the best of our slighly inebriated ability:

1. What night will BAD! play? [we're aiming for either a monday or tuesday night depending on facility scheduling and availability]

2. What time will BAD! play? [your matches will fall somewhere between 7p-10p again depending on facility scheduling and availability]

3. How are teams formed? Will there be tryouts? [there will not be tryouts. you will sign up a team of 10-14 members and that will be your team]

4. What if I don't have a team to sign up or know of people who are putting together a team? [if there is space available, we'll put you together with others looking for a team and create one. or we'll add you to an existing team if they don't have the minimum # of mates]

5. Is BAD! for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender players only? [no, this league is for GLBT and GLBT-friendly players who want to compete in an athletic environment free of harrassment, discrimination and drama]

6. Will this be a co-ed league? [yes, each team must have a minimum of 2 women playing in each game]

7. Where will BAD! play? [we are working that out and will let you know once we land a sweet spot hopefully on the west side with a good bar around the corner so you can get a beer between matches]

8. Is there a national Dodgeball association? [yup...the National Amateur Dodgeball Association - N.A.D.A. http://www.dodgeballusa.com ]

12. How much will it cost me per season? [we are currently crunching numbers and will let you know but it's safe to say you won't have to cut back on your thrice-daily double-venti-soy-chai-lattes-with-an-extra-shot-and-no-whip to finance your Dodgeball dreams]

13. When will BAD! launch? [we're aiming for late Summer / early Fall once we get boring stuff worked out like paperwork, insurance, permits, sponsors and blah blah blah...is it time for Beer Blast yet? don't worry, we'll keep you updated on our progress, the league launch date and the all-important totally cruisey launch party]

The NYC Gay Basketball League SPRING 2007 Season began on April 15th. There are now TWO divisions, Advanced and Intermediate.

We are interested in starting up a Beginner Clinic, but we are looking for Beginners! This is the perfect time for you and your friends to learn how to play BASKETBALL! No experience necessary!

GAYFEST NYC, a festival of new gay-themed plays and musicals, runs May 9-June 2, 2007, with three fully-staged professional Main Stage productions and Studio Theatre readings of two new plays. This not-for-profit Festival benefits Harvey Milk High School scholarship fund.

GAYFEST NYC's three main stage productions include . . .

REVOLUTION by Michael D. Jackson (World Premiere) In docudrama form, REVOLUTION depicts the events leading up to the gay liberation movement ignited by the Stonewall Riots in June of 1969. The play shows the resistance from the gay community towards prejudice and unjust laws and the growing courage to fight back for equal rights. Through the use of historic newsreel footage provided by the Stonewall Foundation and other organizations, Mr. Jackson offers his fictional account of a young college student's experiences in New York City and what it was like to be openly gay in the late 1960s.

COMPETING NARRATIVES by A.B. Asher (World Premiere) A compelling story of three lives re-examined. A reclusive straight-appearing former gay activist and his exuberantly gay life partner are visited one day by an African-American journalist who appears white and who is harboring a long-held secret he is finally determined to reveal. The lives of these three men collide and they are challenged to question their own and each other's beliefs about race, sexuality and identity.

A KISS FROM ALEXANDER, book and lyrics by Stephan DeGhelder, music by Brad Simmons - (New York Premiere) It's in the East Village of NYC where attractive director Nick Matthews is staging "Alexander Was Great!" an over-the-top gay musical that portrays the ancient Macedonian world conqueror as a royal party animal. Alexander himself - now a deity - is restored to mortal life as a beautiful and gifted actor and sent to Earth to foil Nick's blasphemous show. Alexander almost succeeds until he discovers that Nick is the reincarnation of his great love, thereby sending what was a campy, backstage musical into a romantic tailspin as immortal love blazes anew.
